Ahoy Everyone,

I just wanted to thank everyone again who participated in Lake Clean-up. We had five boats that combed the shoreline searching for debris. With all the rain, I thought there would be a lot more debris, but the lake was in pretty good shape. Several of the other boats involved noted the same.

I believe the boat captained by Pete Delia with crew members Jim Lafferty and Pete Ahlgrim retrieved the largest item that I saw. They captured one the of the (No Wake) buoys that came loose and washed ashore.

Special thanks to Pete and Suzi Delia for hosting another great after party!!!

Fiesta Day is already with two weeks. Keep an eye out for updates they will be popping shortly.

Cheers,

Dave Dain

Ahoy,

Sorry for the early morning email, but I’m still pumped even after watching the SC VS ND game at this time of night.

This Progressive dinner last night even though small in stature but large in heart WHAT A GREAT TIME.

There is a lot of thanks I need to send out. Again what a fun night.

1st you have probably heard my spill on knowledge transfer and between Kathy Barbay & Jan May that happened with Tammy Revard & Diane Heller. WHAT A GREAT JOB THOSE TWO DID (even though Tammy is sun bathing with the girls in Mexico tonight).

2nd a very big thanks to our host this evening for appetizers we invaded the house of  Suzi & Pete Delia for appetizer’s and then we went to the home of Jim & Mary Lange for desserts.

3rd a very big thanks to the boat captains of Jim & Mary Lange, Jim & Jane Lafferty, and my BOSS Jan & myself.

4th Wayne Bootow who went home after the appetizers so Karen can pack for her trip with the ladies and came to the Lange house for taxi service.

5th To the 2 new members of the Yacht Club Steve& Alexis Prince & Jim & Mary Lange

6th to all those members you see on the CC address Thanks Thanks for the wonderful appetizers & desserts. I need to go take an alka seltzer now.

Subject: CLYC - Pot Luck Roadrunner Park 6/25/15
Date: Jun 29, 2015 1:45 PM

Wow! it was great to see so many in attendance for our last meeting.  Despite the heat, the pot luck dinner at roadrunner park was a huge success - not only did we have sufficient food to consume that was super delicious but the meeting as a whole was fun and enjoyable!  Our scholarship recipient, Cody Hankin, when he 1st arrived was a little hesitant not knowing the Yacht Club and what to expect. Along with his parents, Donna and David were not only grateful but glad to see that we were indeed not a "Stuffy" club (HA HA) !  By the 2nd hour his comment was "glad to see you all have a good time and are not grown up” and I got a big laugh out of that. I do know for a fact that Cody and his parents had a very good time was highly appreciative of the scholarship award.

SO ALL MEMBERS OF THE YACHT CLUB GIVE YOURSELVES A VERY BIG PAT ON THE BACK.

Regards,

Bob Templeton
